You are what your deep, driving desire is
sa yathākāmo bhavati tatkratur bhavati
As your desire is, so is your will
yatkratur bhavati tat karma kurute
As your will is, so is your deed
yat karma kurute tad abhisaṃpadyate

Desire is merely the fixation of the mind on an idea. Get it out of its groove by denying it attention.
