Nobody is superior, nobody is inferior, but nobody is equal either. People are simply unique, incomparable. You are you, I am I. I have to contribute my potential to life; you have to contribute your potential to life. I have to discover my own being; you have to discover your own being.
Man as he is has ceased to be the All. But when he ceases to be a separate individual, he raises himself again and permeates the universe.
Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.
Be content with who you are, because you are a unique person that no one else can emulate. Embrace your differences and uniqueness, and don’t try to be someone you’re not.
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.
Be yourself and the people who will accept you for who you are are the ones worth keeping around. Those who won’t accept you for who you are aren’t worth your time and energy.
Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.
The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases.
You have brains in your head
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
In any direction you choose
You’re on your own
And you know what you know
And you’re the only guy
Who’ll decide where to go
I don’t want other people to decide who I am. I want to decide that for myself.
I don’t like ass kissers, flag wavers or team players. I like people who buck the system. Individualists. I often warn people: “Somewhere along the way, someone is going to tell you, ‘There is no “I” in team’. What you should tell them is, ‘May be not. But there is an “I” in Independence, Individuality and Integrity”.
“We gain enlightenment like the moon reflecting in the water. The moon does not get wet, nor is the water broken. Although its light is wide and great, the moon is reflected even in a puddle an inch wide. The whole moon and the whole sky are reflected in a drop of dew in the grass.”
