Speak the truth, speak pleasantly,
Do not speak the truth in an unpleasant manner
Even if pleasant, do not speak untruth,
This is the path of eternal righteousness.
That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.
―Christopher Hitchens

Two wheels bear life’s chariot onward
Will it move on only one?
-Hitopadesa
That which lets now the dark, now the light appear is Tao.
-Chuang Tzu, op. cit., Ch.17
